Top 20 Bermuda Youtube Channels For April

YouTube announced this week it is combing its 360-degree capabilities with live streaming. The move was made ahead of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

This has the potential to help claw back some of the momentum which was lost when Periscope, and to a lesser extent, Meerkat were launched last year.

Also, Google, which owns YouTube, also made a play for video advertising budgets by saying YouTube ads are 80% more effective than TV ads in driving sales, which was based on 56 case studies.

Locally, Oracle Racing team became the fifth entry on Bermuda’s Top 20 YouTube list to surpass five million views.

The others in the top five include Collie Buddz, BIOS, Thirdstory and Bernews. Buddz had nearly 500,000 views over the past 30 days, which was the most of any Bermuda entry. BIOS was next with just more than 100,000 plays and Bernews had nearly 92,000 video views.

Elsewhere, Janson Cross slipped past Hot Fiyah Sounds into 15^th place while Islandstats is poised to pass Uzimon in next month’s standings.
