BUEI Talks To Present “The Same But Different”
The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] and MAMA will present Dr. Joan A. Friedman with “The Same But Different” on Thursday, July 14 at 7.30pm.
The event poster says, “Dr. Joan A. Friedman is an identical twin, the mother of fraternal twins, a psychotherapist specializing in twins, and the author of two books about twins – ‘Emotionally Healthy Twins’ and ‘The Same But Different.’
“She is a prominent and well-respected twin expert who shares her passionate views and insights about twins and their emotional needs with families throughout the world.
“She conducts groups and provides consultation about twin-related matters such as school placements, developmental discrepancies, behavioral issues, and individuation struggles.
“Don’t miss the opportunity to hear Dr. Friedman’s presentation about what parents need to know to raise emotionally healthy twins and siblings close in age.”
The presentation will get underway on Thursday, July 14 at 7.30pm, with a Sushi Happy Hour to be held at Harbourfront from 5.00pm to 6.30pm, with dinner opening at 6.00pm.
