Southampton Rangers Win Western County
In the final round of the 2016 Western County Cup, the Southampton Rangers were able to defeat the Somerset Bridge by 9 wickets at the PHC Stadium.
Batting first, Somerset Bridge were bowled out for 81, Clarence Trott was the top scorer with 19, while Derrick Brangman returned figures of 10-5-21-5 to lead the Southampton Rangers bowling attack, while Dion Stovell had figures of 4.2-0-28-3.
In reply, Alex Dore scored 41 not out as the Southampton Ranger lost only one wicket in the chase scoring 83/1, Trott claimed the only wicket for the Somerset Bridge, he had figures of 3.5-0-22-1.
