Friends Of Hospice’s ‘Hearts, Hats & High Tea’
To celebrate the 26th anniversary of Agape House, the Friends of Hospice is inviting the public to attend their Hearts, Hats and High Tea on Saturday, February 25.
A spokesperson said, “Only two more days left to buy tickets to The Hearts, Hats and High tea which will take place on Saturday, February 25th from 2-5pm. The last day to buy tickets is Wednesday 22nd February.
“Friends of Hospice in Bermuda will be celebrating the 26th anniversary of Agape House in the beautiful Windows on the Sound room at the Fairmont Southampton with live entertainment from the Toni Barry band and singer Gita Blakeney and a sumptuous high tea with tables decorated with Bermuda floral arrangements.
“There will be wonderful raffle prizes and also and special prizes for the most marvelous, unique and natural hat. There will also be a prize for the best men’s hat. However hats are not mandatory but most welcomed.
“Friends of Hospice is the charity that supports the work of Agape House. Following the success of Agape House’s 25th anniversary tea party last year, the event is being mounted again.” said Nicky Gurret, Friend of Hospice volunteer and co-organiser.
“Attendees at the Hearts, Hats, and High tea event last year were so enthusiastic and called on us to make the affair an annual event,” said Friends of Hospice Executive Director Cathy Belvedere.”
