Southampton Rangers retained the Western County Cup after winning by 7 wickets over PHC this weekend.

The defending champions Southampton Rangers won the toss and sent PHC to bat, they restricted them to 129/9 after their 50 overs with Tre Manders the top scorer with 71, Kevin Tucker was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers with figures of 10-1-27-3.

In reply Allan Douglas a guest player scored 64 not out to guide the Southampton Rangers to a total of 133/3 winning by 7 wickets. Charles Trott was the pick of the PHC bowlers with figures of 6.1-0-28-2.
