Shaquille Dill Wins CIAA Runner Of Year Award
Bermuda’s Shaquille Dill — who competes for Saint Augustine’s University — won the Runner of the Year award at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association [CIAA] Outdoor Track and Field Awards Ceremony at Bowie State University.
In awarding him the honours, CIAA said, “Dill, a junior from Bermuda, has earned several CIAA season recognitions for his continued outstanding performances.
“This year, Dill earns Athlete of the Year in running events and is ranked No. 5 in the 800m run with a 1:48.70 time. Dill is also ranked in the 400m and is a participant of both SAU’s 4x400m teams.”
