[Updated with photos] The Bermuda Powerboat Racing Association held their latest round of racing this afternoon [June 10] at Ferry Reach in the east end, with nine boats registered to race, with one pulling out just prior to start due to engine issues.

The 8-minute live video replay is below:

“S22 held the lead for one and half laps in the 30 minute race. Outside the pylons towards Marker 18 S20 pulled away taking the lead to win the offshore race, while S22 suffered issues with their engines losing their starboard gear-case.

.

“A Class winner was father and son team Jody and Tony Carreiro taking A Class honours, while A29 with David Selley and Matthew Smith did not start. The second race for the day was cancelled due to lack of boats due to mechanical issues.”
