Six Arrests At Roadside Sobriety Checkpoints

From Friday evening to Saturday morning, six people were arrested due to the roadside sobriety checkpoints, with four arrested for impaired driving, two warrant arrests and a stolen bike recovered.

The police tweeted, “Road side sobriety checks results in 4 impaired driving arrests + 2 warrant arrests and one of these was on a stolen bike. Bike recovered. 6 bikes impounded through the night and 10 traffic offence tickets issued.

    How come they didnt show on the video about sobriety test protocol, license/warrant checks? How are they realizing that people have warrants. Are they even suppose to be checking for that? I thought that it was just for drunk driving.

    Several breaches of the law may be looked for during these vehicle checks. Insurance companies may seek or ask questions about the person,s age , driving record , as well as if they hold a valid driving licence , this is reasonable.
