Bermuda Pacers Win 12 Medals In Toronto

Bermuda Pacers Track Club athletes began competing in the Flying Angels International Age Class Track & Field Championships at the Toronto Track & Field Center.

On the first day, the Bermuda Pacers Track Club members captured 12 medals; 1 gold, 6 silver medals and 5 bronze medals.

Daylen Scott won the Under 13 Boys Long Jump gold medal with a top leap of 4.92m.

Riana Robinson won the Under Girls 400 Meter silver medal when she was clocked in 1:21.47, Legend Robinson won the silver medal while competing in the Under 9 Boys 400 Meter Dash final clocking 1:19.45. During the Under 13 Girls 400 Meter Dash Final, Ellise Dickinson won the silver medal with a time of 1:06.25.

Denver Tucker won the Under 15 Boys Long Jump silver medal with a top leap of 5.17m, Dickinson’s second silver medal came during the Under 13 Girls High Jump with a leap of 1.39m.

The Bermuda Pacers Under 11 Girls 4×100 Meter Relay team captured the silver medal with a time of 1:03.11.

During the Under 11 Boys 100 Meter Dash Kruz Iris won the bronze medal with a time of 14.47. The bronze medal was won by J’Auza James during the Under 15 Boys 1500 Meter stopping the clock in a time of 4:42.16. James would win his second bronze medal when he recorded a leap of 5.14m during the Under 15 Boys Long Jump.

In the Under 11 Girls High Jump Miyari Trott won the bronze medal with a top leap of 1.10m. Century Robinson won the bronze medal during the Under 13 Girls High Jump with a leap of 1.33m.
