Photos & Videos: 2020 Pedal For Paralympics
[Updated] The Bermuda Paralympic Association [BPARAS] is hosting a fundraising cycling event today [Jan 12], with participants riding from Dockyard to Ferry Reach Park to help raise funds for the island’s para-athletes.

The cyclists were joined along part of the route by Paralympian Jessica Lewis, who was presented with a gift prior to the event in recognition of her medal winning showing at the Parapan Games, and also present at the start was Paralympian Yushae Desilva Andrade, the first Bermudian to compete in boccia at the Paralympics.

The organisers previously said, “Pedal for Paralympics is an opportunity for avid cyclists to support the Bermuda Paralympic Association to raise funds enabling Bermuda’s elite para-athletes to compete abroad at World Championships, Parapan Am Games, and the Paralympics.”
