Swimming: Daleys Win Medals On Final Day

On the final day of the 2020 Central Region A Championships in Canada, Elan and Elijah Daley claimed gold medals once again.

Elan Daley won her first gold medal of the event by winning the girls 14-year-old 200 LC meter individual medley, touching the wall in a time of 2:23.14.

Elijah Daley won the boys 13-year-old 200 LC meter individual medley gold medal by clocking a time of 2:20.77.

Elan Daley went on to capture another gold medal, this time swimming the second leg of the 13-14 girls 200 LC meter medley relay as her and her ESwim A teammates clocked a winning time of 2:03.00.

Elijah Daley followed up with another gold medal during the boys 13-year-old 100 LC meter backstroke when he was clocked with a time of 1:04.56.

Elan Daley finished fourth while competing in the girls 14-year-old 100 LC meter backstroke A final with a time of 1:07.66.

Swimming the third leg of the 13-14 boys 200 LC meter medley relay, Elijah Daley and his ESwim B teammates finished fourth with a time of 2:00.78.

During the boys 13-year-old 200 LC meter IM preliminaries, Elijah Daley finished second in a time of 2:24.26, while Elan Daley finished fourth in the girls 14-year-old 100 LC meter backstroke preliminaries by touching the wall in a time of 1:09.22.
