Police to Start Carrying Tasers This Week
At a press conference this afternoon, the Bermuda Police announced plans for officers to begin carrying tasers. Approximately 1 in 3 officers will be carrying them starting this week. Bacardi Unveils Wind Turbine for Distillery
Bermuda headquartered Bacardi Corporation today unveiled the largest wind turbine installation in Puerto Rico, which will use natural wind energy to help power Bacardi’s distillery near San Juan. After his condition worsened yesterday, the 17 year old Sandys parish man who was stabbed multiple times on Saturday was air-lifted overseas to Johns Hopkins hospital in Baltimore, Maryland USA for further medical treatment.
