  2. terry says:

And you wonder why they call it….’Bottom of Tills Hill’………………Fire the Security service.

    Then again, thats another field………

  3. mixitup says:

What has become of us? I mean there was a time when “Bermudians don’t do stuff like that” was true. Maybe its Cable TV who knows

  4. Karen says:

    Wow…crazy thing to do.

    • Annonyed says:

Really Cable TV!!!! in 2010 we still use that sorry excuse. How about boredom, non-discipline, no leadership, no local role models. how about instead of blaming Cable people actually monitor their children

  5. Pitbull says:

    SMH!!! :(

  6. Pass slip says:

Location : Public place / lots of people coming and going
    Time : Broad daylight
    Victim : Security guard

How safe does anyone feel now at home in our own yards ?

    • Logic76 says:

Security guard: Most likely over the age of 60 and overweight.

  7. Way To Go says:

Crime is way out of hand in Bermuda. Bermuda used to be another world – but not anylonger.

  8. itwasn't me says:

    Products of Bad Parenting.

  9. Shinah says:

Not suprised at all. Natural progression from shooting enemies, robbing to survive…This is when the INNOCENT will get hurt.

  10. Fishy says:

Sounds to me like someone within TCD tipped off a friend that the money is handled this way at the same time everyday. Hmm. Inside job anyone?

    • Whodunit says:

yeah @fishy you’re a genius. Because it is absolutely impossible to see a security guard carrying a moneybag and a moneytruck in BROAD DAYLIGHT! Only an inside job would allow thugs to observe the times and places for pick-ups. You should call crimestoppers and collect your reward. Simply brilliant!

Anyways, falling off that bike is sure to give him a black eye, some facial bruising and broken ribs. I hear those kinds of falls cause injuries that may appear as though one was repeatedly punched in the face and slapped with telephone books in custody.

    • Shinah says:

That is a good one Fishy…Are you saying that the robbers were not bright enough to case the establishment to develop an elaborate plan to execute…..

  11. fergie says:

It is only going to get worse as offshore companies leave for safer places, total tourist numbers dwindle because of the rising crime and jobs become scarcer and scarcer. The Government needs to beef up the police force and the police need to stamp out this foolishness!

  12. SMH says:

@itwasn’t me…No it’s not a product of bad parenting you can bring you child up in this world to be a model citizen but in the end it’s the child’s choices that effect their life and if they continuously choose the wrong path what would you suggest the parents do??? After all the one that was caught is 22 how much longer should his parents hold his hand he is not exactly a 1 year old that doesn’t know the difference between right and wrong…
