Crown counsel Cindy Clarke said Ms Vanderpool, a single mother of a six-year-old, was arrested on Tuesday at the airport after Customs officers discovered seven bags containing 2,500 grams of cannabis wrapped around her thighs
.
Miss Clarke said the cannabis could have sold for between $115,000 and $258,600 depending on how it was packaged.

I feel sorry for the child & the person/s who have to take care of the child. No sympathy for the mother.

I try to make it a point to not judge others and their situations. However as I can see it is hard for others. Don’t feel sorry for the child because he has family that cares for him and a mother that was trying to do for him. That’s right don’t have sympathy for his mother but have EMPATHY for her as we are all one pay check away from doing something that would never dream of doing. We are all financially stressed and right now we are looking and feeling the pressure. I don’t agree with the choice she made because there are other choices out there but we can not judge someone when if we have not been in their shoes. Embrace the thought please.
