Business Bermuda Student Essay Contest

Business Bermuda is inviting students between the ages of 13-19 to participate in their Annual General Meeting Breakfast Essay Contest. This year, eight talented Bermudian students will be invited as special guests to attend a private breakfast prior to the start of their AGM on March 3, 2011. Students will be given the opportunity to have breakfast and discussion with Premier Paula Cox.

To be considered, students must submit a 500-word essay in the form of an open letter to the Premier on the topic detailed above. The top three essay winners will be awarded $300, $150, and $50 respectively. The five runner-ups will be given special mention.

All submissions should be typed, double-spaced in 12pt Times New Roman font, and include a cover page with the student’s name, address, e-mail, telephone number, birth date, class, and school attending.

Essays should be submitted by 4 p.m. on February 22, 2011 via e-mail at essays “at” businessbermuda.org or by hand to the office at Windsor Place, 1st Floor, 22 Queen Street, Hamilton, HM 11.
