In Corona League action this weekend [Feb 5], Valley came from 6 – 2 down with twenty minutes remaining to draw 6 – 6 with MR Onion’s.
MR Onion’s got hat-tricks from Phil Anderson and Niall Baillie, while Peter Sampson scored twice for Valley who also got goals from Keimon Lawrence, Authur Tucker, Anthony Webb and a twenty yard volley from Dion Woolridge which was the equalizer.
On the two other Corona League matchups, Vasco beat Tuff Dogs 1-0 and St. David’s drew with Lobster Pot. Vasco got a goal from Rui Furtado to defeatthe Tuff Dogs 1 – 0 – while Helder Rocha scored for Lobster Pot while Laren Marshall scored from the penalty spot for St. David’s to end the game 1-1.
