Slideshow: Bermuda Regiment Training Exercise

March 24, 2011

This past weekend [Mar 18/19], the Bermuda Regiment held Exercise March Madness at Morgan’s Point. A spokesperson said, “The focus of March Madness is on Internal Security Operations, which is one of the Regiment’s potential tasks, and is therefore one of the primary aspects of training scheduled for the 2011 Overseas Camp. Troops will participate in an exercise scenario designed to test command and control at all levels, and provide the degree of realism necessary to accurately portray these types of operations.”

Bravo to my fellow citizens who came out to protest the SDO re Morgans Point.
I hope they do the same thing when the SDO is granted for Tuckers Point.

There seems to be a lot of “Points” lately but how many in Government and the Green Back community are really getting it.

Now..off to the old Club Med/Holiday Inns in St. George to spruce up that old artiliary gun….never know……….

  2. Trash Collection says:

Those large green bails are the island’s trash being piled up at Morgan’s Point while Tynes Bay is undergoing permanent repairs. It would of been a good time to enact mandatory recycling or at least informing the public of where there trash goes when Tynes Bay is not in operation…
