Causeway Crash Victim To Be Airlifted Out
One of the gentlemen involved in the accident last night [June 19] on Blue Hole Hill will be airlifted to Massachusetts for further medical attention this afternoon. The other gentleman involved in the accident is presently listed as stable in the Intensive Care Unit of KEMH. Both men are 33 years old.
The accident occurred at approximately 7:45pm last night on Blue Hole Hill in St. Georges, right at the beginning of the Causeway. The two men on the bike were traveling east when they struck a car traveling in the opposite direction. Both the pillion passenger and the rider were trapped under the car and had to be extricated by police and members of the public. Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact them on 2950011.

They were not at fault a car cut the damn corner and they went over to avoid it you fools. They have families and kids and clearly compassion was not bestowed on either of you. How am I a fool? Look at the damn picture. The car is on it’s own side of the road, facing towards Hamilton while the bike is on the wrong side facing St. Georges. So how is it that the car was at fault? Your claim that the car was cutting the corner makes no sense judging from this photo. Looking at the side where there is damage to the vehicle and where the bike is located, it looks like the bike was in the wrong. That’s an open and shut case by the looks of it.

To their families hold tight, be strong and lean on the Father to restore these men’s strenght – it is clear it was not their time – I am glad that it wasn’t it is enough pain and suffering at the lost of fathers; these two have another chance to be that to their kids. There are two additional victims of this result of reckless riding. The innocent couple in the car. Hope they too are doing well and recovering from the shock.

My prayers to the poor couple in the car under which the crazy cyclist slid his bike, and to the passenger on the bike. His mate almost killed him.
My response was way to quick. After thinking about it, OK they were not speeding, but how many times do these young kids on the bikes (speeding or not) overtake cars, with only 1 or 2 foot to spare – it is like they are playing chicken or Russian Roulette. I do not know the circumstances of yesterday and apologize for not knowing the facts, but my message is not aimed at the them specifically, but at the general population of young kids speeding

Im new to this but i know them both personally and weather they are speeding or not most negative comments aren’t called for…….for those that make negative comments (weather u feel they were in the wrong or not) try not to put up your negative /sacastic and uncalled for comments they hurt, like on comment i read earlier imagine if it were you im sure you would want to come through the computer lines and “f” someone up ( and please dont sit there and read this and think im going to battle out my comments cause im not).
I know them both on a personal level and ya, ok they were a bit wreckless (if that be the case) but outside of that they are both great man……. take care of there’s and what they believe and for that i’ll always have their back.
