Miss Bermuda’s Relative ‘Whacked’ At Finals

November 8, 2011

It’s not just the Miss World competitors who were knockouts.

Karen Reoch, the mother of Miss Scotland Jennifer Reoch told the “Scottish Sun” newspaper today [Nov.8] she almost clobbered a relative of Miss Bermuda during the finals at London’s Earls Court on Sunday.

“Proud Karen accidentally smacked a relative of Miss Bermuda, Jana Outerbridge, when Jen’s name was read out for the top seven” reported the newspaper.

“Teaching assistant Karen said: ‘I got so excited and absolutely whacked this poor women in front of me. She must have been angry.

“But we were so caught up in what was happening. It was incredible. I couldn’t go through those emotions again though. I was even crying right at the start of the show!”
