Estwaniks Win Cross Country Titles
The Bermuda Track and Field Association [BTFA] held their National Cross Country Championships at the Botanical Gardens this morning [Dec.10].
Chris and Ashley Estwanik won the Male and Female Open Titles, Chris Estwanik covered the 6 miles in a time of 31:05, with Sean Trott finishing second clocking 32:50 and Chayce Smith finished third with a time of 33:20.
Ashley Estwanik covered the 3 miles in a time of 18:16, with Tamika Williams finishing second clocking 19:56 and Kimberley McIvor finishing third with a time of 24:39.
Juma Mouchette won the Boy’s Under 20 Title clocking 16:44 over the 3 mile distance, while Megan Berry won the Girls Under 20 national Title. Shuntae Hendrickson’s time of 20:22 saw her capture the Girls Under 17 Title while a time of 17:30 allowed Nico Barclay to run away with the Boy’s Under 17 Title.
