Six Burglaries Reported Yesterday

The Police said yesterday [Dec.5] there were six burglaries reported, the majority of which took place during the day.

The burglaries took place in Hamilton parish, Southampton, Warwick, Pembroke and Devonshire, with two of the burglaries occurring in the Cloverdale Road, Devonshire area. A quantity of electronics, jewelry, cash and alcohol were stolen.

A police spokesperson said, “One again the Bermuda Police Service would like to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries. On Monday December 5 there were six burglaries reported, the majority of which took place during the day.

“The parishes that were affected include: Hamilton parish, Southampton, Warwick, Pembroke and Devonshire, with two of the burglaries occurring in the Cloverdale Road, Devonshire area. Overall a quantity of electronics, jewelry, cash and alcohol was taken. The public is reminded to make sure all windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended.

“We also continue to recommend that all residents secure their valuables out of sight, record serial numbers of all items and take pictures of their possessions. In particular, make note of electronic equipment and jewelry – so that if they are stolen and later recovered, there is an accurate way of identifying them.

“Members of the public are encouraged to report any suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods to the Police by contacting 295-0011. The public is reminded that receiving stolen property is an offence punishable under the law.”

    Find them & chop there hand off sharia law style. They will never do it again & when the others see stumpy walking down the street they wont do it either.
