Cyclist Dominique Mahyo To Train In France

July 28, 2012

Teenage cycling sensation Dominique Mahyo is travelling to France to spend two months with Philippe Mauduit, training and racing with the club UCC Vivonne.

In an email to friends and supporters Mahyo said, “I will be living with Philippe and his family and appreciate their willingness to invite me into their home. This is such a great opportunity for me, and while I realize the riding is going to be tough in France, I want to let you know that I’ll be trying my very best. I plan on sending regular updates so that you are aware of how things are going.”

“I want to thank you all for the help and encouragement you have given me since I began riding. I would especially like to thank Peter Dunne for originally getting me into this sport while I was at Berkeley Institute, and all of you for supporting me in my cycling and personal development,” continued Mahyo.

Mahyo concluded, “Thank you all again and I know that I am representing all of you in this and will do so to the best of my ability.”
