Another day another accident!!! Slow down Bermuda

  2. Concerned says:

Also all drivers be very cautious at our round-abouts – people are driving right through and not using indicators. Tourists are going round them the wrong way.

  3. swing voter says:

on average, there are 12-15 RTAs per day. this is bad, considering our roads are curvy, narrow, and congested, and we still drive and ride like lunatics. Ever notice how many stone walls are damaged on the road ways….then on top of it all we want to drunk and drive/ride? Bdians are just plain stupessss

    • Who Cares says:

how can you say that Bermudians are just plain stupid. When majority of the RTA’s are either vistors or expats that are not familar with bermuda’s curvy roads. Now lets rephrase bermudians and call your self a stupessss.

  4. Old School Friend says:

There are not only tourist that don’t know how to negotiate a round about. Majority of people don’t. Especially on this round about. Bikes, Cars and Trucks.

  5. a lil confused says:

Ok this artical says one man is in icu. I see 2 bikes and no mention of another person.

    • argosy says:

      Can count but can’t spell….confused??

    • kwani kwasi says:

I think it is safe to assume the other person is not in hospital..otherwise the article would have said “two people in hospital”.

  6. Rock says:

Not surprised. Many people do not give way like they should at this particular round about. For some reason they think that if you are travelling east along St Johns’ rd you don’t have to give way to the traffic coming on the right from Cemetry rd or Woodlands rd. People need to slow down and observe the rules of the road……seriously. I hope the young man recovers from his injuries. Very sad news!

this wasn’t at the round about. it was at the road right after, where they sell the plants and shirts and such.
