    • Politely Pompous says:

Never try and steal from a vegetable garden. You’ll never get away with it-the potatoes have eyes and the corn have ears…

    • Here fishy fishy says:

Where do u stay uhh, cause when I’m hungry I’ll just come help myself to your food. It is called stealing, whether you are hungry or not.

  5. swing voter says:

one or two maybe….but 50? and yur old too bie!

  6. Triangle Drifter says:

Wondering how much night farming was done before one was caught? The penalty should be a day of weeding in the sun.

    • Cinderella says:

Excellent solution, especially if one has no funds with which to pay Her Majesty. Plenty of roads needing cleanup. Notice I did not say ‘weed’ing.

  7. Fox_Gap_2 says:

Nobody want to plant de cornnnnnnnnnnn….erybody wan fi raid de barnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!

  8. mixitup says:

24 EARS of Corn? And he thought nobody would HEAR him…Silly man! -__-

  9. Future says:

Flog him if convicted. As a grower who has had many things stolen, I sympathize with the farmer. Ppl just don’t see the knock on implications of their ways. Discourage people from even growing anything….and when that boat doesn’t come one day…what the hell are you going to eat, fool. Never mind the skills being lost due to ppl not growing anymore for theft. Orange trees cut down cause they owner can’t get his/her our orange to eat…flog him if convicted.

  10. Somerset OG says:

$2000? And I thought popcorn at the movies was expensive.

  11. Keepin' it Real...4Real! says:

You all think its a joke….but like Future says “when that boat doesn’t come one day…” which WILL happen sooner than you think…i sure hope that you have enough space on your porch or balcony to sustain your families needs… all i see is people breeding and living in incubators…you all call them condominiums…now you might wanna jump on me for using the word “breeding”…i do know that we all have rights….but your rights diminish as soon as they start to impede on someone elses rights…i really dont wanna get into any examples of what i speak, your intelligence should be able to decipher… nuff said.
WHAT & WHERE WILL YOU EAT…?? foodstuffs are already being genetically modified…have u seen any nice big black watermelon seeds that we always gotta spit out ? they dont want you to be able to grow your own (not profitable to Big Agra)…check the rest of ur fresh fruits for subtle changes (actually i would say only 40yr olds and up might notice the changes of yesteryear…back in da day bie! jus a lil something to think seriously about

    • Come Correct says:

Agreed, the corny jokes are funny but it is a serious matter, the thing is only this man has been allegedly caught, I hear about night farming all the time. I hate eating out, I’d rather cool my own food, yes I’m male…and single, ladies ;) , but I get a sense of satisfaction by doing it myself, but if you ste my specialty london broil off my grill, I’d be pretty disheartened like this farmer…same way, people NEED to eat, he didn’t steal a 68in lcd tv.

      • Come Correct says:

Damn my fat thumbs, damn them to hell.

If u did’t mold it don’t reap it
If u did’t spray it don’t reap it

  13. Steve says:

He will probably get charged with stalking the corn!

  14. Disgusted says:

While your jokes are funny the fact that a 58 year old man had to allegedly resort to steal an ear of corn to get nourishment. The sad fact of the matter is that there will be more situations like this due to the increasing cost of everyday necessities.
We live in one of the most affluent societies in the world and yt things lke this are aloowed to occur.
All the agencies that are out there that provide assistance to people struggling need to come together to provide a more sustainable assistance program so that things like this don’t happen.

  15. k says:

it will work out cheaper if he earned some money honestly and bought some corn !!!!!! a dumbest criminal candidate !!!!!
