Slideshow: Waves At Elbow, Astwood, Horseshoe

September 7, 2012

Bermuda looks to be spared any major impact from Tropical Storm Leslie with the Emergency Measures Organisation saying today [Sept 7] we are expected to be spared a direct impact from a hurricane and that “weekend activities can follow their normal pattern with the exception that all warnings for the use of our beaches.”

The waters off Bermuda were showing signs of the lingering storm, with waves crashing along the South Shore as Tropical Storm Leslie drifts slowly in the Atlantic. These photos were taken today at Elbow Beach, Astwood Park and Horseshoe Bay.

Wow! Waves in the ocean, maybe Wayne can use that as an original tourism ad concept, “Bermuda, we invented waves in the ocean, come see”
