Wadley Joins Endurance To Head Speciality Unit
Bermuda-based Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. announced today [Apr. 19] that Daniel Wadley has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Head of its new Endurance Pro insurance unit.
He will be responsible for growing the specialty business unit, which offers Errors & Omissions [E&O] coverage for professional firms as well as miscellaneous commercial classes.
Mr. Wadley has twenty years of experience in the insurance industry, focused exclusively on professional liability business, working for both carriers and brokers.
Jack Kuhn, Endurance CEO of Global Insurance welcomed Wadley to the company, indicating that his “expertise and leadership to our insurance team as we build our specialty capabilities and expand our E&O portfolio. I am confident that Dan and his team, including Jeff Kulikowski, Senior Vice President and Head of Commercial E&O, and Gene Mason, Senior Vice President, will enhance our existing broker relationships, cultivate new ones and become recognized as a leading carrier in this market.”
Wadley joins Endurance from AXIS Insurance where he was Executive Vice President, Field Operations for the AxisPro professional lines business unit, responsible for underwriting operations as well as business development.
Prior to that, he was Co-Leader of Marsh’s National Errors and Omissions (E&O) Practice and served a 3 year term on the Financial and Professional Liability Practice’s [FINPRO] Executive Committee, having built his career in Marsh’s FINPRO unit since 1995. He holds a BS in Business Management from Wesley College in Dover, Delaware.
Mr. Kulikowski joined Endurance earlier this month from AXIS Insurance, where he was Senior Vice President and Regional Underwriting Manager for the AxisPro business unit and also led AxisPro’s National Account underwriting platform.
Mr. Mason joined Endurance in July 2010 as Senior Vice President, US Wholesale Professional Lines, responsible for leading the company’s miscellaneous E&O unit. He has held both underwriting and broker roles and has more than twenty years experience in the professional liability insurance field.
