WO2 Pitman Recognised For 40 Years Of Service
On Friday, the Minister of Public Safety Michael Dunkley recognised WO2 Bernard Pitman for his 40-years of service in the Bermuda Regiment.
During his time with the Bermuda Regiment, Mr. Pitman has served under five Band Masters and five Directors of Music, as well as 12 Commanding Officers. Also as part of his service with the Regiment Band, he has travelled to the US, Canada, Jamaica, England, Holland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Hawaii, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Minister Dunkley publicly thanked Mr. Pitman for his sterling service over the past four decades. The Minister is pictured below [L-R] with outgoing Regiment Commanding Officer Lt/Col. Brian Gonsalves, WO2 Bernard Pitman, and Bermuda Regiment Director of Music Dwight Robinson.
