Photos: Filipino Association KBB Cleanup
The Filipino Association in Bermuda had another of their regular clean up events this past weekend, joining together to clean up trash at their adopted area of Astwood Park on South Shore in Warwick. In their quest to give back to the island, the group collected a large amount of trash, including bottles and big and small plastic items from the beach area.

Thank you very much guys… a great addition to Bermuda community.
I also want to thank everyone that had taken part in cleaning up them areas that became, “a real eye-sore” to everyone that pass by or visiting the public park/s and beaches…
Thank you all for your care and consideration, much appreciated.
Simply thanks!
Filipinos picking up what Bermudians throw down, it’s a shame we can’t have the same pride in our paradise as they do. To each and everyone involved, thank you.
Thank You Guys – though I think you already work far too hard cleaning up other people’s messes.
Thanks!
The Filipinos are the best!
Ya tellin’ me!
Thank you, Filipino community!
Nice work,thank you.
Bernews whatever with the court case involving the scum bag first name Carlos who was starting problems with the Filipinos. I never heard what came out of the case. Was he charged?
Sorry, we aren’t sure. We were in Court for the initial charges, but never covered any form of a trial. It could have happened, and we weren’t in that Court for it, or maybe he did not go to trial. Not sure. Sorry!
To the Filipino Association a big thank you! Your giving to the community is commendable and deserves much praise.
A Big Thank You!

Much thanks to the Filipino Association for the pride that they show in Bermuda by adopting an area to keep clean. This is a great example that needs to be followed by all of Bermuda’s club, associations, school and individuals alike.
Job well done!
Thanks again.
I remember the expat exempt company crews cleaning up neighborhoods outside of their comfort zone. Although I don’t litter there was still a feeling of embarrassment seeing this.
