Police Confirm: Two Men Fire Gun At Jet Ski
Two men on a motorcycle fired a gun at a jet ski in the Darrell’s Wharf area in Warwick at approximately 8.00pm this evening [June 16], the police have confirmed. No one was injured.
A police spokesperson said, “Police responded to a report of a confirmed firearms incident that took place a few minutes after 8pm at Darrell’s Wharf in Warwick.
“It appears that the tour boat Coral Princess was returning from an excursion [local patrons] when a motorcycle appeared with two men, the suspects fired at a jet ski that apparently were following the boat into the dock.
“No one was injured and police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have seen two men leaving the scene on a motorcycle to contact police on 2950011.”

Dark visors should be made illegal at night time…. and for the fool sayn they would wear scarfs.. at least the police/public can spot them easier… shooters probably ride across the police and they don’t even know…

I never understood why people follow cruises anyway. Seems so desperate. If you want to be part of the party get on the boat. If not back away. I wonder which coward on that party boat made the phone call letting the gunman know who was following and where they were.

A 4 wheeled vehicle slammed into the wall HARD near Valley road on Harbour road and kept going prior to the numerous police vehicles racing in the same direction(west).
So, why were the persons on the Jetski targets? Hanging with a boat like the coral princess means the ski rider was using that boat as shelter and putting others at risk.
Those jetskis are so fast there is no reason to use a slow moving party boat like the Coral Princess as shelter. One hit of he throttle and they are up to 65mph+ in seconds!
Those persons on the jetski were either innocently following that boat and someone on that boat made a call to the shooters, or perhaps they were following the boat with ill intentions themselves of harming someone on that boat before the tables were turned on them.
Either way, I hope they find the gunman.
Actually the there was one guy on the jetskii when the boat went cross dock yard and then when the boat went back cross to go back to the dock there were three men on the jetskii who followed and circled the boat the entire way! Causing trouble! Throwing bottles. They guys on the jetskii were CAUSING TROUBLE …
If it was a tour boat with local patrons, then there should be plenty of witnesses but I bet no one will say a word.

That real estate office on Darrel’s Warf probably has cameras, as well as the Warf hotel..I’m sure the liquor store at the junction of Manse and Harbour has external cameras as well, Hope they investigate properly..

Here’s what I think happened:
Bunch of party goers on the cruise boat that included a gang banger or two. The jetskiers were from a rival gang. The skiers taunted the people on the boat and probably made comments to the women on board, which annoyed one of the gang bangers on the boat. He or she made a phone call.
Bang bang bang.
All over stupid ignorance. Check the cell phone records of all who were on board.
Jet Ski operators may be the most disliked of all boaters but they don’t deserve this. Not even the pathetic attention seekers who follow these cruise boats doing the same ‘trick’ over and over again endlessly showing off to try and impress the inappropriately dressed girls covered in low class tats.
