“The E Word” Set To Celebrate Emancipation
The African Diaspora Heritage Trail Bermuda Foundation, with the support of Somerset Cricket Club, will be celebrating the 180th anniversary of emancipation on August 1 with an event called “The E Word.”
The event will include a reading by Dr. Femi Bad and Lashon Martin, accompanied by Edmond ‘Rivah’ Smith.
“The E Word” will get underway at 9.15am on August 1, 2014 at the Somerset Cricket Club Field.
