Jillian Terceira Moves Up 7 Spots In France

Bermudian equestrian Jillian Terceira and Tamerino were back in action on Day Two of the Horse Jumping portion of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games at thhe Caen’s d’Ornano Stadium in Normandy, France.

The pair started the day in 113th place, they moved up seven places to finish in 106th place when the dust had settled.

Riders Faults from Day 1 were converted into points depending on the time taken to complete the course & number of competitors.

Terceira and Tamerino recorded 11.39 points on Day One, and then in today’s round your competitors True Faults were added to their score.

Terceira and Tamerino had 13 Faults today and the 11.39 from Day One saw them finish with a score of 24.39.

Only the top 50 rider combinations advance to Jump another round tomorrow!

Following her competition Terceira said, “I am overall very pleased with my horse. We have only been partnered together for 4 months & we proved that we could qualify & compete at a Championship level in a very short time! It was a dream come true to compete at the World Equestrian Games for Bermuda! It was an honor!”
