Sunday March 29th: “Good News” Spotlight

March 29, 2015

Bermuda played host to a number of positive stories over the past week, with some of the good news including the island’s national football team defeating the Bahamas 5-0 in their first World Cup qualifying match, a 36-strong Canadian Scout Troop paying a visit to Bermuda, local inmates donating refurbished bikes, women in the local shipping industry being honoured, and students being congratulated for their UN participation.

We also posted various community photo galleries, including images of Bermuda’s winning football effort against the Bahamas, Alpha Phi Alpha’s Black & Gold Ball, Warwick Preschool’s Spring Exhibition, Warwick Academy’s Easter competition, the City Food Festival, local swimming and cycling, and the Sports Achievement Awards.
