    ” Means of Escape ”

To avoid disaster riding a bike during rain and wet road conditions it is good to delay your departure at least 30 minutes ,this gives the needed time for the water to drain.

To prevent aqua planing on wet roads avoid using the front brake, it is far better to decelerate and apply the rear brake prudently.

Another safety practice is to look as far ahead as possible.

Vision during rain is much reduced, always run with high beams on.

While riding a bike always be on a constant look out for a ” Means of Escape”, to avoid collision.

All this is in vain if the vehicles are not maintained properly.

JYD, please do not encourage people to ride or drive with high beams on as they will blind everyone traveling towards them….
