Motorcycle & Taxi Collision On South Road
[Updated] At approximately 10.30am this morning [May 25] there was a collision involving a taxi and motorcycle on South Road, in the area by Brighton Hill Road, with it appearing that the motorcycle crashed into the back of the taxi, resulting in damage to both vehicles. Further details are limited at this time, however we will update as able.
Update May 26, 11.59am: A police spokesperson said, “Around 10.45am on Monday, May 25, first responders attended a reported two vehicle collision on South Road in Devonshire, near the junction with Brighton Hill Road.
“The motorcycle rider, believed to be a 40 year old Sandys parish man and his pillion passenger, believed to be a 37 year old Sandys parish woman, sustained non-life threatening injuries.
“There were no other injuries reported; however both vehicles were damaged. Inquiries regarding this collision continue and witnesses should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
