Police Confirm Death: 50-Year-Old Troy Hewey
The police have confirmed that 50-year-old Troy Hewey has died following the traffic collision on Friday in Southampton, marking the 5th road traffic fatality of this year.
A police spokesperson said, “Tonight [Saturday] at 10:55pm, 50-year-old Troy Hewey died as a result of injuries received in the Road Traffic Collision that took place at 8am on Friday on Middle Road in Southampton.
“The Bermuda Police Service would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and an investigation into the the death of Mr. Hewey is underway and police would like to speak with anyone who saw the collision. Please contact police on 2950011.
“This marks the 5th road death for 2015,” the police added.
