Local Designer Show Moved To Barr’s Bay Park
The Bermuda Fashion Festival’s event on Wednesday – The Local Designer Show – has been moved from Bulls Head car park to Barr’s Bay Park.
A spokesperson said, “The much anticipated runway show will no longer be held at Bulls Head car park – it is instead now at Barr’s Bay Park, alongside the beautiful Hamilton waterfront, at the same time, 7.30 with doors open and bar at 6.30pm.
“Bermuda Fashion Festival begins today with its first sell-out show, Hair & Beauty at City Hall. The week-long festival has attracted over 40 international models, actors, fashion designers, fashion magazine editors, bloggers and media from overseas, flown in by Jet Blue.
“There are 12 events throughout the week, including a first-ever International Designer Show and a free Local Designer Trunk Show – open to the public to shop directly from Bermudian fashion designers at Pier 6 from 11am – 3pm Thursday.
“All shows are selling fast. Tickets are available online at www.ptix.bm and from City Hall Offices.”
