  5. smh says:

Once again Govt. putting Americas Cup before the people of Bermuda. When govt figures out they should take care of home before taking care of others then maybe just maybe this Americas Cup thing in 2017 wouldnt be a complete disaster. ;)

    • Anbu says:

When will the simple minded people get it through their heads that we need to take care of others before we can take care of ourselves. We NEED their money. Learn how the economy works before shooting off your mouth. I swear we are getting dumber by the second on this damn rock.

      • Onion juice says:

Take care of others before we take care of ourselves. That’s like saying you LOVE everyone but don’t LOVE yourself.
        What an @$$hole.

      • Don't make me holler says:

As soon as you say simple minded, look who’s the first one to chime in? LOL- OJ. Its like he heard his name being called!
        Don’t make me holler

      • know dat says:

Never seen a Bermudian athlete meet with Dunkley and Gibbons at cabinet….

        • I heart 441 says:

What rock you been hiding under? Dunkley meets/congratulates one, or a team within cabinet every few months. Gibbons is doing what he suppose to do I’m assuming, and meeting with our star athletes is just not one of his agenda.

        • navin johnson says:

people like you Know Dat only see what they want to see…you have a distorted view of Bermuda and wish to make everything racist…disgraceful

    • jt says:

  9. I heart 441 says:

Gotta spend money to make money!

    • Raymond Ray says:

@ I heart 441: That seems to be a major problem here with a great deal of “people” they don’t realize one must give easy with one hand while simultaneously pulling hard and steady with the other if they wish to progress. It’s unfortunate for some to believe dollars will be given to them for doing absolutely nothing at all. Sad yes, but true :-(

      • Onion Juice says:

So when PLP spent money it was corruption, now UBP do it, it’s a sensible business deal.
        Oligarchy Business Again

  10. Terry says:

I give up with these internet trolls who talk *****

    Shalom.

    • Onion Juice says:

Don’t give up now, its gonna get more interesting. When PLP was in power you had the daily printing about corruption on a regular, now UBP are under the microscope you want to turn the lights off.
You cant sweep ya Gates under the carpet forever.

  11. Toleratate says:

Terry; it amazes me every day I read the comments on Bernews. Sadly, they DON”T even know it.
