52 Customers Out Of Power In Prospect Area

At 6:31am this morning [Oct 21] a major fault in an electrical vault occurred resulting in power outages to 52 customers in the Prospect area, and it is anticipated that power will be restored late this afternoon.

A spokesperson said, “BELCO would like to advise that at 6:31am a major fault in an electrical vault occurred resulting in power outages to 52 customers in the Prospect area.

“The fault involves wiring within the vault and repairs to underground cables. Engineers and Crews are currently working on the problem and it is anticipated that power will be restored late this afternoon.

“We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and will provide updates on our Facebook page and via Twitter (@BELCOBERMUDA) as they become available.”
