America’s Cup: List Of Vendors & Event Schedule
[Updated] After months of planning and preparation work, the America’s Cup festivities are set to kick off this weekend with sailing action on the water, and a wide variety of activities planned on land, include booths and exhibits from dozens of local vendors.
In describing the land activities the promotional flyer [PDF] said, “The Our Bermuda Festival and Event Village, along Front Street, offers a family-friendly programme of events as well as evening activities, a live music concert and a chance for visitors to enjoy the America’s Cup experience.
“Front Street will feature the exciting Our Bermuda Festival, which will be open to the public daily. The festival will be distinctly Bermudian with dozens of exhibitors, food vendors, sailing, live commentary, fireworks, sailor Dock Out Show, AC talk show, a concert, kid activities, entertainers and more, offering the very best of the Island.”

Hope everyone has a great time.
I hope the time and effort put into this pays off for the vendors.
Amazing.
I hope so too, considering a $600 vendor fee meaning if someone is selling their goods for $10, they need 60 sales to get out of the red and if they sell for less, well. So the $22,000 fee that the vendors paid out will go towards the offset of the $77 million that they already gave, Mmmm.
And the concert closes at 12:am, reminds me when the queen used to come on tv when it signed off , so those who are not ready to go home will pay another $100 to party to 3:00am.
Gotta love it’
gotta be killing the PLP types like you that Bermuda is finally coming out of your mess…..get on board
Will there be a fireworks display this evening?
Disregard above message—–just received the update.
Yup you can purchase a hot dog or hamburger for $6. OMG!!
They HAVE to charge that much, for the $600 vendor fee, 100 people purchase and they’re out of the red, then they can work on the profit.
I wouldn’t worry about the food vendors as most sold out of many items last night and I expect more of the same today. Retail vendors should do better today as we will ease into the night with sailing last night was simply an EXPLSION !!
One should be more concerned about the turn-out considering the weather today
