“Personal Finances & Home Ownership” Meeting
Businessman and MP Zane DeSilva will be hosting a public meeting on ‘Personal Finances & Home Ownership’ at 7.30pm on January 19th at Heron Bay School Hall.
The event flyer said, “Zane DeSilva invites you to a public meeting to discuss management of personal finances with a view to taking the first steps to owning your own home.
“Many Bermudians consider home ownership to be an unobtainable goal but with commitment and careful management of personal finances it’s possible to achieve their dreams. Let’s talk around these subjects. For any further information, please contact Zane DeSilva at 236-3011 or his mobile 505-3011.”
Taking the first steps to owning your own home.
Step one; Secure a Government contract for $4.5 million to push a bit of dirt around.
Step two; Have your friends implement a series of change orders and no-bid contracts turning that initial contract into $16.5 million
Step three; Avoid any responsibility.
Step three might be the hardest, but really, this is Bermuda, nobody is ever held responsible.
took the words right out of my mouth.
toodles!
