Sunday February 14th: “Good News” Spotlight

News that American Airlines will operate a second flight between Bermuda and New York City, Bermudian stylist Shiona Turini worked on superstar Beyonce’s latest video ‘Formation’, and Harneys pledged financial support for the upcoming Agricultural Show were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In other good news stories, BermudaScholarships.com launched its updated website, the coach of the Danish national swim team praised Bermuda’s facilities, Bermudian endocrinologist Dr. Annabel Fountain presented at the Royal Society of Medicine, and Ian Bickley will be recognized at the Bermuda Fashion Festival in July for his success in the fashion industry.

We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of qualifying athletes at a Pacers track meet, Clarien volunteers working with the Eliza DoLittle Society, women’s hockey action, End to End mountain bike race, Butterfield & Vallis 5K road race, BNT Sweetheart Plant & Bake Sale and the Primary School Valentine’s Choir Competition.
