April 2016: Top 10 Bernews “Photo Of Day”
Bernews features a “Photo of the Day” in our email newsletter, social media and app each morning, giving readers a taste of the island to start their day.
Always popular, April’s top photos attracted tens of thousands of likes and shares on social media, and judging by the number of readers’ “likes”, the month’s most popular photos included shots of Flatts, the island’s renowned clear waters and pink sand, a beautiful photo of Southshore, and more.

Ranking as the most popular photo of the month, this shot of Flatts attracted some 950 shares and likes on Facebook, as well as a number of retweets on Twitter.
2] Pink Sand of Bermuda
A photo of the island’s unique pink sands took second position by earning 748 likes and shares on Facebook.
3] Rocky Shoreline
This look at the island’s shoreline garnered 684 likes and shares from our Facebook followers.
4] Warwick
A long look across a Warwick beach took spot number four with about 667 likes and shares.
5] South Shore
Offering a look at water and land, this photo of the South Shore received about 650 likes and shares on Facebook.
6] Crystal Clear Waters
This fantastic view of Bermuda’s crystal clear waters proved popular with readers, earning more than 620 likes and shares on Facebook.

Another photo of Bermuda’s beautiful South Shore earned itself a place on April’s top 10 list with more than 610 Facebook likes and shares.

This alluring view of the West End under an azure sky attracted more than 590 likes and shares on Facebook.

This photo of a landing Longtail received more than 590 likes and shares on Facebook.
10] Horseshoe Bay
Earning 575 likes and shares, this photograph of lovely Horseshoe Bay rounds out April’s list in the tenth position.
