Wednesday: Traffic Disruption On Swing Bridge

At approximately 10am on Wednesday [June 29] the Swing Bridge in St. Georges will be temporarily closed to all traffic to allow for testing.

A spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works is advising members of the public that at approximately 10am on Wednesday 29th June, the Swing Bridge on Mullet Bay Road, St. Georges, will be temporarily closed to all traffic to allow for further testing on the bridge.

“Normal traffic operation will be resumed as quickly as possible and interruption to traffic flow is not anticipated to last more than 30 minutes. The Ministry apologizes in advance for any inconveniences caused to the motoring public.”
