Bermuda Triumphs At CEA Dressage Challenge

The 2016 CEA Dressage Challenge came to a very successful conclusion for Bermuda with the Bermuda Adult Team securing first place, whilst the Children’s team achieved third place. Other competing Caribbean countries included Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Barbados as well as Trinidad and Tobago.

Members of the children’s team were Robin Stempel riding Happy Feet, Candyce Martins on Crème de la Crème and Casey Truran riding De La Vega.

Members of the Adult Team were Angela Halloran-Smith riding Finnomenal [owned by Becky Bartoletti], Dawn Fox riding Lancelot and Suzette Sailsman riding Wiriana [owned by Paula George].

Adult Teammed Bermuda July 6 2016

In addition to the team achievements, Bermuda riders Rebecca [Becky] Bartoletti, Dawn Fox and Angela Halloran-Smith secured the top individual scores of all participating countries in the following tests:

Adult 1st Level/Test 3

  • Rebecca [Becky] Bartoletti & Finnomenal AV with a score of 70.500%

Adult 2nd Level/Test 3

  • Angela Halloran Smith & Finnomenal AV with a score of 74.537%

Adult 4th Level/Test 4

  • Dawn Fox & Landtango with a score of 69.162%

Adult Intermediare 1

  • Dawn Fox & Lancelot with a score of 71.395%

Further, Angela Halloran-Smith secured the overall highest score of all CEA country competitors participating in this year’s CEA Challenge. Congratulations Bermuda!
