Sunday July 3rd: “Good News” Spotlight

News that the Hamilton Princess completed its $100 million renovation project, ten students were awarded this year’s Dr. Barbara Ball Public Health Scholarships, Flora Duffy won the World Triathlon Stockholm and Bermuda gymnasts won medals in Orlando were some of the positive news stories from this past week.

Additional good news stories included Modblu Boutique getting set to open at Innovation House, Sareiko Thomas being named CPAD’s Member Of Month for May, and the Bermuda National Trust holding its annual awards event.

We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the America’s Cup Foil Fest, the Tokio Millennium Re 8 & Under Cricket League prize presentation, the launch of the Jeep Renegade by Prestige Autos, Reading Day at Elliot Primary School, Bermudian model Lily Lightbourn being featured in Cosmopolitan UK, American Independence Day celebrations, Canada Day Celebrations, as well as cycling, cricket, kickboxing and baseball action.
