BFRS Extinguish Small Fire In Hamilton Parish
The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service responded to a small fire on Abbott’s Cliff Close at approximately 2.15pm this afternoon, and said they “discovered a small fire in a bedroom that was quickly extinguished.”
Sergeant Russann Francis said, “We responded to a report of a structural fire at Abbott’s Cliff Close.
“On our arrival it was discovered that there was heavy smoke issuing from the upper level of a two-storey residence.
“We responded with three vehicles and nine personnel and discovered a small fire in a bedroom that was quickly extinguished with a dry chemical powder extinguisher.
“There is extreme smoke damage throughout the residence. The fire is currently under investigation.”
