Court: Trial Date Set For 24-Year-Old Woman

September 2, 2016

Appearing in the Supreme Court Monthly Arraignments, a 24-year-old woman from New York had a November trial date set.

Ms Zoe Bennett was previously charged with possessing just over $40,000 in currency knowing the cash to be the proceeds of crime.

She was not required to plead during the Arraignment session as matters pertaining to her legal representation and evidence had to be sorted out.

Currently in custody, Ms Bennett must return to Court in October, and a date in November was set for the start of her trial.
