October 16, 2016

News that the island was quickly back in business following a direct hit from Hurricane Nicole, Bermuda’s Shiona Turini styled Solange Knowles’ latest music video, Andesha Busby and Tenneil Ratteray received Public Service Bursary Awards, and senior citizens were honoured at an awards ceremony were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

Other good news stories included Trey Mallory acquiring ITF Junior Circuit points, Crystal Holdipp releasing a new book titled “Resilient: Rise Above the Ashes”, Work Skills Development training programme participants completing modules, and the Bermuda Container Line donating toward students’ Sloop experience.

We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the Cross Country Fort Scaur race, the Bermuda Bicycle Association Road Race, Harness Pony Racing, the UN International Day of the Girl celebration, and the Bermuda Food Truck Festival on Front Street.
