Dr. Graham To Speak At ‘Docs For Dinner’
Bermuda HealthCare Services and Brown-Darrell Clinic will be hosting their quarterly “Docs for Dinner” event on Thursday September 14th at Café Lido.
This quarter’s guest speaker is Dr. Jay Alexander Graham an abdominal transplant surgeon in the Bronx at Montefiore Medical Center who will be presenting on the topic “Renal Transplant Surgery in The Urban Setting”.
Certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Graham earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC.
He then completed a general surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital and research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston MA. He joined Montefiore after completing his abdominal transplant fellowship at Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Author of over 25 peer-review manuscripts and 8 book chapters he continues to pursue academic research with 5 internal review board approved protocols. Specializing in liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation, he has a passion for improving patient’s lives through treating end-organ failure.
Over thirty doctors are expected to attend the presentation. Registration and cocktails for “Docs for Dinner” will begin at 7:00 pm, dinner will begin at 7:30 pm, with presentations to follow.
