St. George’s Colts, Paget Lions, St. David’s, PHC Zebras, Devonshire Cougars, and North Village Rams all walked away with wins in recent Premier and First Division football action.

First: Devonshire Colts 2 Southampton Rangers 2

At the Police Field the Devonshire Colts drew 2 – 2 with the Southampton Rangers, Donte Brangman gave the visitors Southampton Rangers the lead in the 24th minute, only for Jahkeylo Burgess to level things at 1 – 1 in the 44th minute. Teniko Eve would then give the Devonshire Colts the lead in the 47th minute, but a 74th minute converted penalty off the boot of Akale Bean drew the match at 2 – 2.

First: St. George’s Colts 3 Wolves 2

At the Wellington Oval, Donavan Thompson gave the St. George’s Colts the lead in the 9th minute, Vincent Minors equalized for Wolves when he scored in the 27th minute. Thompson would give the St. George’s Colts the lead again in the 71st minute, before Jahron Dickinson would make it 3 – 1 in the 74th minute, Sergio Richardson would pull a goal back for Wolves in the 87th minute, but they could not find the equalizer.

First: Paget Lions 4 Hamilton Parish 0

At the Southampton Oval, the Paget Lions got off to a flying start as they defeated Hamilton Parish 4 – 0. Tahj Wade led the way with a hat-trick, while DeMarlo Curtis added the other.

First: Somerset Eagles 0 St. David’s 3

At the White Hill Field, St. David’s defeated the Somerset Eagles 3 – 0. The visitors got goals from Mikkail Crockwell, Diego McCallan and Jamal Woodley to get their season started.

Premier: Young Men’s Social Club 0 Somerset 0

The Young Men Social Club earned a point on their return to the Premier Division after more than 30 years, with this 0 – 0 draw with the Somerset Trojans.

Premier: Flanagan’s Onions 0 PHC Zebras 9

At the BAA Field the PHC Zebras ran up the score on the Flanagan’s Onions. The PHC Zebras got a hat-trick from Marco Warren, 2 goals from Keishon Bean, while Cecoy Robinson, Daren Usher, Jaheim Iris and Casey Castle.

Premier: X-Road’s 0 Devonshire Cougars 2

After a scoreless first half at the Garrison Field the Devonshire Cougars scored the two goals late in the second half as they spoiled the X-Road’s first Premier Division match in their history. The Devonshire Cougars got a 67th minute goal from Jawonday Smith and a 86th minute goal from Jahkee Smith for the win.

Premier: North Village Rams 2 Boulevard Blazers 1

At Bernard’s Park the North Village Rams came from behind to defeat the Boulevard Blazers 2 – 1. TiaeVince Douglas gave the Boulevard Blazers the lead in the 44th minute, but Pierre Smith would equalize for the North Village Rams in the 62nd minute. New signee Akeem Johnston would score what proved to be the winner for the North Village Rams in the 84th minute to earn the win.
